Can I bid on an auction if another JapanAuctionCenter.com user has bid on it?

If more than one member bid on the same auction, our system will only place the highest bid and others will automatically be canceled. If you are outbid by another member don't worry, you can still try to increase your bid amount to outbid others. Note that we only set proxy bids and try to keep your maximum bid amount as high as you can afford. Read the example below to find out our bidding system.

Example: First, member A bids 800yen. Then member B places  1,000yen on the same auction. So member A is automatically outbid by our system and an email notification is sent. In other words, our system submits only the highest amount into Yahoo Japan Auctions and others are removed. Please note that since we do place all bids with the same YJA ID, member B may win the auction for a price lower than 1,000yen, or even lower than 800yen... That's why it's strongly recommended to place the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an auction.

Important:
When you win an auction, the amount you have to pay is the auction closing price and we don't charge you any kind of extra fees for these "Bid wars".
